These creatures are made from muslim which is done in a coffee stain.  After they are sewn they are stuffed with poly to provide the body shape and then painted in the colour you see.  The wings are wired and hand stitched around the wire to keep it in place as well as to ensure the rustic look.  The beads work perfectly as eyes and a little raffia gives them extra interest!  Each has a sturdy crochet cotton hangar attached should you want to hang them but it can easily be removed if you wish to display in other ways.
 
They can be hung on most anything....or place among plants, on a wreath....the possibilities are endless.
